Stefan Schäfer (DE) earned his spot on the countdown with a single perfectly timed and executed attack in Milan. When he pulled it off and won the race he instantly became a favorite, not just because he was the only man last season to beat Colin Strickland, but because of how well he was able to maneuver himself in the field, coming all the way from the 82nd spot on the grid. However, Milan and Brooklyn are two very different circuits. Hopefully the new qualifying format suits Stefan because it’s unlikely he’ll be able to move up as easily with the mark of favorite on his back. Ph: @tornanti_cc #redhookcrit #rhcbk10 #critweek
