RACE REPORT
Traditionally held in Red Hook, the race moved to the Brooklyn Navy Yard as part of a historical event which saw the Navy Yard open it’s doors to the public as it has never before. Thousands of spectators filled the yard and witnessed a spectacular race on an exceptionally technical circuit which only saw five finishers as many riders were lapped, had mechanicals or were involved in crashes. Neil Bezdek and Kyle Murphy broke away midway through the race and held onto an insurmountable lead with Neil edging Kyle to the line.
