After a stellar 2016 Red Hook Crit Championship series run that saw Keira McVitty finish 4th overall, it was a bit of a let down to see her skip Brooklyn this year. The talented rider chose instead to focus on her road racing career, but we are pleased to see her line up for London and excited to see if this fan favorite can pick up where she left off. #redhookcrit #rhcl3

Previous PostPrevious Nico Heßlich is yet another new rider making his Red Hook Crit debut in London. The German Madison Champion and Six Day star has plenty of experience with track bikes saying, “I have trained with my track bike on the road for years, so pushing a fixed gear bike on the roads is not new for me, but cornering with 60 other highly motivated riders will be a new experience.” Hopefully Heßlich is picking up some cornering tips from his training buddy who just happens to be Stefan Schafer. Assuming Heßlich is a quick study, we like his chances. #redhookcrit #rhcl3
