About The Event
The Red Hook Criterium is a world renowned nighttime bicycle race that is contested over 26 laps of a short, technical circuit. This event, traditionally held in Red Hook, Brooklyn and Milano, Italy, moves into the Brooklyn Navy Yard for the first time as part of the four race Red Hook Criterium Championship Series. This spectator friendly race will feature athletes from around the world fighting for championship points and a chance at entering the history books as the first winner of The Red Hook Crit Brooklyn Navy Yard.
In addition to the criterium there will be a 5k running race held on the same evening, on the same course, and in the same spirit. The combination of the nighttime setting, first lap prime, and a flat technical course will create an unique atmosphere for both runners and spectators.

• Recommended gear ratio: 49×15
• 200 rider entrance limit
• Timed qualifying format to set 100 rider starting grid

VOLUNTEER
The Red Hook Criterium has grown steadily over the last 6 years. The success of this event is directly related to a fleet of volunteers who donate their time and sweat to help make everything run smoothly.
For the first time the Red Hook Criteirum will hold a race inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We are expecting this event to be our most successful yet and we are graciously asking the community to once again help us out.
