Filippo Fortin brings professional road racing experience to the crit, having finished 6th in the U23 UCI World Road Championships in 2011. He comes to Brooklyn as part of the powerful Bahumer Racing Team that brings six other riders to the start line. Filippo broke out onto the scene six months ago in Milan where he relentlessly shut down Colin Strickland’s breakaway attempts before being boxed out of winning the field sprint by Aldo Ilesic.
