Alessandro Mariani seems to be on the verge of a breakout ride. His palmares are littered with great results. He was 6th in Milan last season and this year he’s already claimed 4th at the Experimentum Crit, 3rd at Thundercrit, and earlier this month he won the Originale Lambro Crit. It’s clear to us that legs and the skills are there for Mariani. Unfortunately the luck just wasn’t with him in Brooklyn where he was classified a disappointing 66th after taking himself out in the hairpin.
